Instructor of Ophthalmology
Dr. Pinson is a clinical instructor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He specializes in difficult-to-fit contact lenses and primary eye care.
He received a degree in optometry from the New England College of Optometry. He completed his training with externships at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel, and at South End Community Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Pinson is the director of the University of Maryland Clinical Externship for optometry students. He also is responsible for teaching University of Maryland Medical Center and the Maryland General Hospital ophthalmology residents, "everything they ever wanted to know about optics."
