A total of 27 University of Maryland doctors, all members of the UM School of Medicine faculty, were selected in Baltimore Magazine's 2011 list of "Top Doctors." These doctors are listed below by specialty.
The results are based on a Baltimore Magazine survey of more than 6,500 randomly selected physicians in the Baltimore area, including Baltimore City and the surrounding seven counties, asking where they would send a member of their family in each of 101 specialties.
