Our team was founded in 1999 to provide comprehensive evaluation, management and treatment of complicated twin pregnancies. It is our mission to offer families the information they need based on current evidence and our collective experience.

Ahmet A. Baschat
Ahmet A. Baschat, MB, BCh has completed specialized training in both the United States and Europe. Dr Baschat has managed a wide spectrum of complications specific to monochorionic pregnancies. As Director of our Laser Program, he has the ideal combination of longstanding experience with a range of intrauterine procedures and technical expertise with the latest technology.

Chris R. Harman
Christopher R. Harman, M.D. is Vice Chairman of the Department and Director of the Center for Advanced Fetal Care at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Harman is internationally known in the fields of fetal medicine, ultrasound assessment of the fetus and placenta, and invasive fetal procedures.
