Inside the "OR of the Future": A CNBC Interview with Dr. Adrian Park -- The CNBC show "Fast Forward" did an hour-long special on advances in medical technology that featured an interview with Dr. Park highlighting the technological advances of the University of Maryland Medical Center's 19 new, state-of-the-art, operating rooms.

Tour the "OR of the Future" -- The University of Maryland Medical Center opened 19 new operating rooms in May of 2003. Called the OR of the Future, they combine the most advanced technology and videoscopic and other communications equipment with information technology in order to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
