Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Please be advised that if you are outside the UMMS Firewall, you may not be able to access the Internal Home Page. A Virtual Private Network (VPN) must be setup.

Requirements for the VPN Client

Operating System: Windows 95/98/2K/Me, Linux
RAM: 16 MB (32 MB Recommended)
Processor: Pentium 90 MHz or better
Hard Disk Space: 45 MB max
ISP connection: analog modem dial up connection, DSL or Cable Modem
TCP/IP Only (IPX is not supported on the Internet)
Windows XP does, however, include a VPN client of its own, which supports standard VPN connectivity and should work with minimal configuration.
