On January 26, 2010, UMMC hosted the first Trailblazer Education Session for area health care professionals. Over 50 people attended the event, entitled "University Farmers Market: Strategies for Success."
The event featured speakers Louise Mitchell from Maryland Hospitals for a Healthy Environment (MDH2E), and Rachel Ernzen, RD, and Denise Choiniere, RN, from UMMC.
