Beginning June 7, 2010, UMMC employees who receive direct deposit can choose to view their paycheck information online via Employee Self Service (ESS), instead of receiving a paper pay stub each pay period.
Employees who choose this option will be able to view payroll information from 2009 up to their most current pay period in 2010. In addition, employees can also view the past two years of W-2 statements as well as leave balances, personal information, and all other information available through ESS.
Those employees who choose to opt in to the "green" payroll system may do so at any time beginning on June 7, 2010 by following instructions available on the employee Intranet. Beginning September 1, 2010, paper pay stubs and paychecks will be mailed to all employees who are not participating in the green payroll option.
