UMMC Goes Green

News

The University of Maryland Medical Center has emerged as a leader in the statewide movement to adopt more environmentally sound practices thanks to the efforts of its Green Team.

The Green Team, consisting of UMMC doctors, nurses, and other staff members, has been instrumental in implementing hospital-wide policies to reduce waste, lower energy consumption, and promote healthy air quality and sustainable food choices.
