Frozen Shoulder Treatment


In this video, Syed Ashfaq Hasan, M.D., associate professor of orthopaedics and chief of the Shoulder and Elbow Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, reviews the diagnosis and treatment of frozen shoulder, a common condition that can limit the shoulder's range of motion and function. Dr. Hasan discusses the natural history of frozen shoulder as well as treatment options, including the use of minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques, which use keyhole incisions to restore range of motion and function, as well as alleviate pain.
