The Department of Medicine of the University of Maryland School of Medicine offers a three year ACGME accredited / American College of Cardiology recognized Fellowship program in Cardiovascular Disease.
Following successful completion of this program, Fellows are eligible to take the ABIM sub-specialty exam in Cardiovascular Disease for board certification. An additional one to two years of training are offered in accredited programs for Fellows wishing to pursue additional training in Interventional Cardiology or Cardiac Electrophysiology.
