Preparation and Certification

Fellows successfully completing three years
of fellowship are candidates for Board certification.

Certification for clinical invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology requires at least one additional year of training, and two for fellows interested in performing complex ablations.

Certification for Interventional Cardiology requires one additional year of dedicated training in the catheterization laboratory. Separate recognized and accredited fellowship programs are available in both of these disciplines.
