There are many ways that patients can enter the University of Maryland Heart Center. Cardiac patients with a scheduled appointment can park in the central parking facility or utilize the valet parking services offered at the front circle of the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Other patients may arrive at the Maryland Heart Center through the emergency department or by ambulance transfer from another hospital through Maryland ExpressCare. Maryland ExpressCare’s transport team, made up of critical care nurses, specially trained paramedics and emergency medical technicians, offers fast, expert inter-facility critical care transport by ground or air ambulance.
