Perfusion Technology

Perfusionists are specialists in heart-lung machine technology. They work directly with cardiovascular surgeons, cardiovascular anesthesiologists and the cardiac nursing staff to provide services for a wide range of open-heart procedures for patients of all ages.

This specialized care can be given during a procedure in the operating room and after a procedure in the patient's room to aid recovery.
