Waiting Areas

While at the Maryland Heart Center, family members are invited to wait in one of our many waiting areas, including:

· Main surgical waiting - is located on the 3rd floor of the new Weinberg Building adjacent to the operating suite.

· Gudelsky 3rd floor waiting - there are 2 day rooms available right near the glass elevators on the 3rd floor of the Gudelsky Building. These waiting areas are most appropriate for family members of patients having a cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedure or those that have been admitted to the Maryland Heart Center Cardiology Critical Care Unit.

· Gudelsky 6th and 7th floor waiting - there are 2 day rooms available on both the 6th and 7th floors of the Gudelsky Building, near the glass elevators. These waiting areas are most appropriate for family members of patients who have had cardiac surgery.

All family members are also invited to visit the chapel or cafeteria while waiting. All of these services are located on the first floor of the Weinberg Building.
