Adult Echo Lab

The Adult Echo Laboratory, located on the 3rd floor of the Gudelsky Building, provides several ultrasound tests of the heart (echocardiograms). These include transthoracic echo, transesophageal echo (TEE) and stress echo to evaluate the structure and function of the heart chambers and valves.

Echo testing is also used together with physical exercise (treadmill) or chemical exercise stress tests to view the heart's pumping ability under exercise conditions, while also monitoring a patient's heart rate, rhythm and any other abnormalities.
