The Joslin Diabetes Center at University of Maryland Medical Center is one of an elite group of affiliate centers of the world-renowned Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston. Named for its founder, Dr. Elliott Joslin, the Boston center opened in 1898 and has been the nation's premier center for diabetes research, treatment and education for 100 years.

As an affiliate member of the Boston Center, the Joslin Center at University of Maryland Medicine meets the highest standards of care for people with diabetes.
