Lifelong wellness begins with a solid understanding of diabetes and how it affects you. This ten-hour course is your starting point. You'll cover nutrition, blood sugar monitoring, medications, complications, exercise, foot care, management of sick days, and similar issues. The course will leave you with essential skills and a better awareness of the many resources available to you.
Living with diabetes isn't easy. The Joslin Circle was established to give you a place where you can meet and talk with others who face the same daily challenges you do. You'll find a positive, caring environment where you can share your concerns, learn new management approaches, and help others benefit from your own life experiences.
Discussions are led by diabetes educators and a variety of guest speakers.
