Am I A Good Candidate?

If you have nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism and want to reduce your dependency on corrective lenses, you may be a good candidate for laser vision correction.

The list below can help you determine if you're a good candidate for laser vision surgery:

18 years or older
Stable prescription for more than 1 year
Not pregnant or nursing
No restrictions mandated by employer
Have realistic goals and expectations
Are informed about the procedure and the potential benefits and risks

Some eye conditions and other medical conditions may preclude you from having LASIK. A good way to help you determine if laser vision correction is right for you is to consult with an experienced laser vision surgeon.
