Lung Transplant Program

Heart and Lung Transplant Education and Support Group

The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has a free monthly education and support group for UMMS heart and lung transplant patients and their families and friends. The meetings feature a guest speaker and cover various topics of interest, with time for questions and a chance to meet other patients.

The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 4 - 5:30 p.m. at the Baltimore VA Medical Center -- which is right across the street from the University of Maryland Medical Center at the corner of Baltimore and Greene streets in downtown Baltimore -- in classroom 2B-136. Parking is available under the VA, with the garage entrance on Fayette Street.
