Dr. Michael Donnenberg has participated in the Maryland Half Marathon since its inception, but this year he had a conflict and was going to be at a scientific meeting on the day of the race. Committed to the cause of helping the Univerisity of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center, he decided to run the race anyway -- in the Netherlands! Dr. Donnenberg's wife, Paula, documented his run through the beautiful city of Amsterdam, and to date, he has raised more than $5,000 from his supporters to benefit the work of the cancer center.
