During the interview, Dr. Omicioli addresses the topic of menopause and explains some of the treatment options available to help relieve the symptoms associated with this portion of a woman's life.
Hormone replacement therapy and its associated risks are also discussed during the interview; however, Dr. Omicioli stresses that this type of treatment should be discussed on an individual basis and that, most of the time, women can manage their menopause symptoms through different lifestyle modifications.
