Russell, professor of neurology and head of the neuromuscular division within the Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, provides an overview of the Maryland ALS Clinic located within the University Specialty Hospital, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System.
Dr. Russell discusses the types of care ALS patients will receive during their visits to the clinic. He also explains what patients can expect during their first visit to the clinic, including the numerous research opportunities in which patients may be able to participate.
