Dr. Stuart Martin explains his lab's discovery of microtentacles on circulating tumor cells and their possible role in tumor metastasis in this 5-minute video. One of the goals of Dr. Martin's research is to target microtentacles with drugs to prevent them from attaching to blood vessel walls in distant tissues of the body, thereby preventing metastasis of cancer in patients.
