Teresa Turska, RN, BSN, graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) in December 2009. Working at the University of Maryland Medical Center as a student nurse through UMSON's Student Nurse Residency Program helped Teresa discover a multitude of opportunities to learn and grow in her profession; opportunities that she now takes advantage of each day as a registered nurse in the Medical Center's Cardiac Surgical ICU (CSICU). In this video, Teresa shares her story, including what led her to choose to work at UMMC after graduating from UMSON.
