Overview:

Drinking an adequate amount of fluids daily is important for general good health, but becomes especially important as you proceed through your cancer treatments. Water helps your body combat fatigue, makes your immune system function more efficiently in fighting infection and helps your body absorb nutrients and eliminate wastes. In this video, Lori Tanguay, R.N., M.S., a nurse in the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center, explains what you need to know about drinking enough liquids during your therapy for cancer.
