Patients with thoracic cancers (esophagus, lung and chest cavity) are treated in the Thoracic Oncology Program at the University of Maryland Greenabaum Cancer Center. Specialists from all disiplines -- including medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, genetic counselors and others -- meet as a team to review each patient's case and formulate the best possible treatment plan.
In this video, nurse practitioner Michelle Turner, C.R.N.P., explains what you can expect when you come to UMGCC for your cancer care.
