After surgery you will go to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit for recovery, where you will be cared for by a team of professionals including doctors, nurses and patient care technicians. Your family and loved ones can visit you here until you are either returned to the Same Day Surgery Unit for discharge or admitted to an inpatient bed in the hospital.
