Vascular Surgery Patient Success Story: Carl Adams

Playlists: vascular surgery   robert crawford   dr. robert crawford   aortic aneurysm

Overview:

Last November 2010 Carl Adams was flown to the University of Maryland Medical Center after being diagnosed with an aortic dissection, a potentially life-threatening condition in which a tear causes bleeding in the inner wall of the aorta. After arriving at the Medical Center, Carl went into renal failure. Dr. Robert Crawford performed a thoracic stent graft and renal stents and six months later, Carl was given a clean bill of health. In this video, Carl and his fiance Suzanne Good talk about their experiences here and how thankful they are to Dr. Crawford and the entire vascular surgery team for saving his life.
