David Burdette became a paraplegic from a bicycle accident in 1985. He sought help for erectile dysfunction (ED) as a result of his injuries, and had a penile implant to restore his sexual function. In this video, Burdette explains the special challenges of his situation and his decision to have an implant; the improvements in penile implant technology since his initial surgery' and his successful revision surgery and treatment by Dr. Andrew Kramer, a urologist and specialist in sexual medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
