In this video, Evelin O’Neill discusses the problem she had with her leg circulation as a result of peripheral artery disease (PAD). After multiple interventional procedures at other local hospitals, doctors wanted to amputate her leg. But then her daughter, a UMMC cardiac nurse, had her mother transferred to UMMC to see Dr. Rajabrata Sarkar. O'Neill describes her surgery and how grateful she is to Dr. Sarkar for saving her leg and her life.
