UMMC has two surgical robots and a surgical robotic training console. We use these for cardiac, otolaryngology (ENT), urology and gynecological surgery. Our surgeons learn how to operate the robot and develop new surgical procedures in our MASTRI (Maryland Advanced Simulation, Training, Research and Innovation) Center.
