Baltimore Attractions

The University of Maryland Medical Center is just a short walk from many of the major attractions the city has to offer. Baltimore is a waterfront city that offers two world-class art museums, local and national sporting events, theaters and restaurants serving cuisine from around the world.

The heart of Baltimore is the acclaimed Inner Harbor. Its promenade links the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center and Harborplace's two pavilions comprising dozens of eateries and close to 100 retail establishments.

Five minutes east of the Inner Harbor are Fells Point and Little Italy. The pubs and taverns of Fells Point attract college-age and young professional crowds, and Little Italy, with its great restaurants, offers something for all budgets. Ten minutes north of University Center is the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall -- home of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Baseball fans will enjoy attending home games of the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.
