patient transportation
  • Immediate 24 hour-a-day ground and air transport
  • No cost for primary transports
  • Third-party payorsare billed for back transports
  • Staffed by specially trained neonatal transport nurse/practitioners
  • Rotated service between sponsoring centers
  • Access to multiple services including ECMO, state-of-the -art infant ventilation and full range of medical-surgical subspecialists
  • Neurodevelopmentalfollow-up care
  • Telephone consult with neonatologists
  • Return transport
  • Continuing education
  • Ongoing follow-up
  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioners/Transport Nurses (over 120 years combined experience in neonatal transport) 3 positions open
  • Dedicated EMTsvia contract with private ambulance company (over 20 years combined experience in neonatal transport with MRNTP)
  • 2-Dedicated vehicles via contract with private ambulance company
  • Access to sub-specialists at two world-renowned pediatric tertiary care centers.
  • Team composition
    • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Neonatal Transport Nurse
    • Specialty trained Emergency Medical Technician.
      • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
      • STABLE
      • NICU training
    • Physician and Respiratory Therapist as required/requested
