The University of Maryland Neuromuscular Program

Electrodiagnostic Laboratory and Infusion Clinic

Electrodiagnostic Laboratory

Electrodiagnostic Laboratory provides diagnostic testing for peripheral neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, autonomic disorders, and muscle disease and receives referrals from a wide range of medical specialties for both inpatient and outpatient referrals. A skin biopsy clinic permits early diagnosis of small fiber and painful neuropathies. Neuromuscular biopsies are coordinated with neurosurgery and pathology.

Infusion Clinic

A specialized infusion clinic is available to provide therapeutic infusions for a wide range of neuromuscular disorders including inflammatory neuropathies and myopathies, and myasthenia gravis.
