A range of rehabilitation medicine services are available within the University
of Maryland Medical System, meeting the needs of patients suffering from disabling
neurological, psychological and musculoskeletal disorders.
The physicians, psychologists and other allied health professionals within
the Division of Rehabilitation in the Department of Neurology work closely with
the University Hospital Post Acute Care services, as well as other institutions
and programs of UMMS to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients
and families involved in the rehabilitaion process.
The professionals of the Rehabilitation Medicine Division perform medical research,
clinically evaluate and treat patients and teach in their respective areas of
expertise primarily at the following sites:
