Congratulations to the 110 University of Maryland Medical Center/School of Medicine doctors selected by their peers as Super Doctors® in the Washington, DC-Baltimore-Northern Virginia area.
Thousands of doctors in our area received Super Doctors surveys last spring asking for nominations in 42 specialties. The Super Doctors research team then evaluated each nominee using a strict set of established indicators, including peer recognition and professional achievement.
After the extensive nomination and research process, conducted by Key Professional Media, Inc., the results appeared in Washington, DC-Baltimore-Northern Virginia Super Doctors 2012, a special advertising section in the October 28, 2012 issue of The Washington Post Magazine.
While Super Doctors seeks to find the top five percent of doctors in the area, the University of Maryland has more than 10 percent of our doctors on the list -- quite an accomplishment!
