To protect the health of our patients, visitors and staff during this flu season, we have put a new visitation policy in place:
All visitors must check in at one of the lobby reception desks.
Visits are NOT permitted by anyone with flu symptoms, including fever, cough or sore throat.
We are not allowing visits by children and teenagers to inpatient areas because they are among the groups most affected by the H1N1 flu outbreak and are at highest risk of complications and death from H1N1 flu.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to help us prevent the spread of the flu.
For our Patients Coming to the Emergency Department or Outpatient Clinics:
Alcohol-based gel and masks are provided at the entrances to our Emergency Departments and clinics. Please clean your hands with the alcohol-based gel and place a mask over your nose and mouth. Inform the receptionist that you have flu symptoms so that you can sit apart from other patients until you are called.
