The nurse practitioners (NP) at the University of Maryland Medical Center contribute to patient care in a number of meaningful ways.

The NP Program Office serves as a central resource toward the continued advancement of the role of the nurse practitioner. Staffed by a senior NP, this office is integral for program development, process improvement for NP practice, and NP advocacy.
