Clinical education programs (see course calendar) are available from the Office of Clinical Practice and Professional Development, as well as the MARYLANDCARES Children's Advocacy and Regional Educational Services and the Institute of Human Virology AIDS Education Center. Programs are designed around content considered essential to prepare clinical staff for specialty practice or preceptor/teaching roles. Most programs are approved for nursing continuing education credit, and the ACLS programs, and the ACLS programs are approved for continuing education credit for physicians, respiratory therapists, and nurses.
