University of Maryland Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, the official medical providers of all Maryland Terrapin athletic teams, has opened a full-service office just three blocks south of the University of Maryland campus. Patients who come to the 4,000-square-foot office have access to a wide range of orthopaedic services as well as on-site imaging and physical therapy. The clinic, which has three large exam rooms, is on the first floor, and there is ample free parking.
Dr. Craig Bennett, chief of sports medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and team orthopaedic surgeon for the University of Maryland Terrapins athletic teams, and James C. Dreese, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine who is an assistant team physician for the Terrapins, will have office hours at the new College Park office on Mondays and Wednesdays.

University of Maryland sports medicine specialists care for athletes of all ages and all skill levels, from collegiate players and high school athletes to "weekend warriors." The program emphasizes injury prevention as well as specialized rehabilitative and surgical options.

From I-495, take Route 1 South (to College Park) and proceed for 3.7 miles through the University of Maryland campus and then turn right on Hartwick Rd. Proceed 1.5 blocks and turn left into 4321 Hartwick Rd. Park behind the building and enter our location from the outside. We are located on the ground floor facing the parking lot in Suite 101.
