Joel Kent, M.D., Director
Dr. Kent is a board certified anesthesiologist with added qualifications in pain management from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his anesthesia residency training, as well as a pain management fellowship, at the University of Maryland. He completed a family practice residency at Franklin Square Hospital and is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Kent specializes in interventional pain management, e.g. intrathecal drug delivery systems, spinal cord stimulation, and radiofrequency lesioning, and is a licensed acupuncturists.
Vajira R. P. Gunawardane, M.D.
Dr. Gunawardane is certfied in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He graduated from St. Georges University School of Medicine and completed an internship in surgery and a residency in anesthesiology at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, as well as a pain management fellowship at the University of Maryland. Dr. Gunawardane practices interventional pain management and is also a licensed acupuncturist.
Christina Clyde, MS, RN
Ms. Clyde is a registered nurse with a Master's degree from the University of Maryland. Ms. Clyde has experience in critical care, post-anesthesia and oncology nursing. She monitors procedures, provides patient education and support and serves as a clinical research coordinator for various pain-related research studies.
Stacey L. Devine, PT
Ms. Devine is a certified physical therapist who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy form the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Ms. Devine has specialized training in manual therapy, manual lymph drainage, scar management and women's health. |
