A little bit about myself...

I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and ended up in Raleigh, North Carolina. I attended NC State for chemical engineering and their rival UNC for medical school.

I chose Med-Peds because I like the playfulness and resiliency of kids and the complexity of adult medical problems.

University of Maryland's Medicine and Pediatrics programs are both strong with a focus on teaching and education. The residents are approachable and fun. I was excited to match here.

I am unsure of what I want to do "when I grow up," but I am looking forward to figuring that out over the next four years.
