Class of 2016
Undergraduate: Carnegie Mellon University

A little about myself. . .
I was born in England and moved around a lot growing up. This apparently resulted in a commitment phobia since I started undergrad as a physics major but graduated with a finance degree instead. I worked for an investment bank on a trading desk for roughly two years before giving it up to lead scuba diving tours in Thailand for a season. Upon my return to the US, I completed a post-bacc at UPenn while working in clinical research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. That's where I fell in love with all things congenital heart. Fortunately for me, the University of Michigan accepted me for medical school and now I'm here, in Baltimore, doing my combined Med-Peds residency. I'm trying to keep an open mind, but the siren song of cardiology is so alluring!
When I'm not in the hospital, you can probably find me playing board games no one has heard of (Glory to Rome anyone?), curled up in a chair with my nose in a book, cooking with friends, or planning my next trip abroad. I also enjoy playing tennis and shooting pool. My hidden talent is that I'm really good at carving pumpkins.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
