A little about myself. . .
I grew up in Northern Virginia and became interested in international health through visiting family in India. I moved to Houston to study Political Science with a focus on development at Rice University. I did student exchanges in France and Spain. I went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and took a year between third and fourth year to get a Master of Science in International Health Policy and Health Economics at the London School of Economics.
I chose University of Maryland because I was looking for a supportive and challenging program with a strong presence and involvement in the community. I have really enjoyed meeting my fellow interns and residents and am looking forward to starting my intern year.
