Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program

Until recently, I had spent my whole life living in the Lone Star State. I grew up in San Antonio (GO SPURS GO!) and lived in Houston for 8 years while attending undergrad at Rice and medical school at UT-Houston. When it came time to interview for Med-Peds residencies, I decided to branch out a bit and took a month-long roadtrip from Texas up to Maryland, exploring places in the between. In the end, I found myself especially drawn to this part of the country and the awesome people and faculty at Maryland. The couple's match brought me to Baltimore and I couldn't be happier. The folks here are great to work with and I already feel like part of big family.

I love music, including going to concerts, writing my own or just jamming with friends. I play the guitar and am currently trying to form a band with some of my fellow interns. I also have a dog, named Molly, and enjoy anything outdoors, from hiking to fishing.

As far as medicine goes, I am interested in primary care as well as working with the underserved.

So far, Baltimore is living up to it's name of the Charm City and I look forward to exploring more of my new home away from home!
