Conferences

Conferences are held regularly -- critical topics are reviewed annually, others biannually. This schedule ensures that each resident will be exposed to the entire didactic curriculum during training. Highlights of the general conference structure include:

Grand Rounds
Hot Box a.k.a. "Stump the Chairman" (interactive conference where students, residents and faculty participate together to solve a diagnostic dilemma)

Monthly:

Behavior Rounds
Newborn Nursery Conference
Evidence-Based Medicine Journal Club
Morbidity and Mortality Conference
Town Meeting with the Chairman, Program Directors, and Chief Residents
