Conferences
Conferences are held regularly -- critical topics are reviewed annually, others
biannually. This schedule ensures that each resident will be exposed to the
entire didactic curriculum during training. Highlights of the general conference
structure include:

Weekly:
- Board Review
- Grand Rounds
- Hot Box a.k.a. "Stump the Chairman" (interactive conference where students, residents and faculty participate together to solve a diagnostic dilemma)
Monthly:
- Behavior Rounds
- Newborn Nursery Conference
- Evidence-Based Medicine Journal Club
- Morbidity and Mortality Conference
- Town Meeting with the Chairman, Program Directors, and Chief Residents
Special Seminars:
- Child Maltreatment Seminar
- PGY 1,2, and 3 Retreats
- Resident Supervisory Symposium (Teaching Skills Seminar)
