Elective Rotations

Recent international health electives done by our residents include rotations in: Mali, Malawi, Bangladesh, Japan and the Dominican Republic.

Five elective rotations consist of a full 1-month block in a single subspecialty, and 2 additional electives may consist of single subspecialties or combinations of specialties. In addition to these 7 required subspecialty electives, residents have 2 more months of Elective experiences available for rotations such as International Health, Research, and Teaching. Residents may also create their own individualized elective rotations (with faculty mentorship).
