A little bit about myself...
I was born in Provo, Utah, but I have lived in Minnesota, Michigan, California, Colorado, Washington State, Germany and Guatemala. Now I'm proud to call Baltimore home. After all, it's "The Greatest City in America," according to the bus stop benches.
I was an English major at Brigham Young University. I even stuck around to get a Master's Degree in late British literature, so if you have any interest in the professionalization of medicine and literature during the Romantic period, I have a hundred pages on the topic for you to read. But I decided to go to medical school after I spent two years in Guatemala as a missionary for my church.
I went to the University of Maryland for medical school. So why did I decide to stay here for residency? Easy: it's the people. The faculty is caring and committed. Our program director works tirelessly to make sure we get the best training possible. And my fellow residents are smart, hard working and friendly. I love the feeling when I come to the hospital that I'm going to be working with my friends.
