A little bit about myself...
I was born in Ithaca, New York, a small city on Cayuga Lake in Upstate New York. I am the youngest of three children and have two older brothers. After high school I attended Binghamton University, just one hour from home, where I was a pole vaulter and high jumper on the track and field team. I moved to Syracuse after undergrad for medical school at Upstate Medical University.
I couples matched with my boyfriend Chris, who is starting internship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. We live in a friendly neighborhood of Federal Hill and are within walking distance of a bunch of great restaurants and the inner harbor. I love Baltimore already!
I am very excited to be here at the University of Maryland and am looking forward to learning from such a phenomenal faculty. I am impressed with the depth and breadth of this program and am confident that it will help me acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to become a great pediatrician. I am interested in emergency medicine, sports medicine, and cardiology- as you can see my mind is still open regarding fellowship!
