A little bit about myself...
I was born in Nigeria in the city of Lagos. I moved to Maryland when I was 13 and completed high school and attended college at College Park (Go Terps!). I always wanted to be a pediatrician, so I was very excited to start medical school at the University of Maryland Baltimore. I had a great experience as a 3rd year medical student in Pediatrics, so much so that I ranked UMHC #1 on my residency application.
I love the program at UMHC because of the friendly atmosphere and the people. Residents and faculty are so supportive of each other and available to help. I knew I made the right decision especially when I met my intern class and immediately fitted right in (definitely made lots of friends for life!).
I am interested in pursuing a fellowship either in Gastroenterology or Pulmonology. Both specialties are well represented here at Maryland.
